Hi, I’m Mike Parr, the man behind Coastal Web Marketing. While today I’m an SEO consultant, over the years, I have worn many hats in the computer industry. In 2007, I founded Coastal Web Marketing (then known as MParr Solutions, Inc.). Our goal then and today is to help small business owners create an online presence and appear higher in search results. We do this through the power of search engine optimization (SEO).

We have built hundreds of websites and helped businesses increase their revenue through increased online leads. Before I Became an SEO Consultant

You might call me a computer geek or computer expert – your choice. I have worked in the computer field since 1979 and have repaired equipment, from small computers to supercomputers and their associated peripherals. In 1991, I became a small business owner myself. Over the years, I have worked with company owners and thousands of employees at a time. I mostly trained individuals and corporate employees on how to use computers and software. I also had contracts with Government facilities in technical support and training. In 1993, I opened my first office in Bel Air, Maryland.

In 1997, I co-owned a business where we were one of the first in Maryland to offer website design and SEO services. We trained Harford County Public Schools teachers to use the Internet with a focus on helping teachers teach their students. We also provided Internet service to the school system, website hosting, and Dial-up service to over 3,000 individuals and businesses. Our service area was Harford County, Southern PA, and Cecil County.

We also have SEO clients in several states and focus on getting businesses to the top 3 listings in Google and other search engines!
